Woodstock Meats –
it’s where Woodstock meets!

Woodstock Meats opened in March 1964 by Phil Spinelli. As we understand things, it immediately became an important meeting point for the town, feeding folks and generally keeping everyone happy. Vince Christofora later took over from Phil, after working for years across the street at the now-closed Grand Union. Vince ran a tight, service-oriented business, ensuring the customers could get great food at great prices every day. In the meantime, he trained the future generation of Woodstock food service workers, instilling solid work ethic and timeless advice.

Vince's son Kevin then took over in early 2000-'s, and worked to expands store selection, including bringing in many regional products, expanding the butcher case, and creating lots more connections between the market and the town. Kevin also created an incredible line of raw dog food (still available), called Butcher's Blend.

In July 2015, Dave Majuri, Ian Martin, and Nels Leader took over from Kevin. Dave and Nels grew-up in Woodstock doing karate together at Mountain View Studio. They met Ian as adults, and quickly learned that Ian is a Woodstock spirit at heart despite growing up just to the south. We (Ian, Dave, and Nels) all love Woodstock and are committed to continuing the long Woodstock Meats tradition of feeding the town.
